Why we built this
The world's best AI tools — Claude, GPT-4, Gemini — are increasingly inaccessible to students in Sri Lanka. Not because the internet is slow, and not because students aren't capable. But because paying $20/month requires an international credit card that most Sri Lankan students simply don't have.
We built SriAI to close that gap. LKR pricing. Local bank transfer. No foreign card. Just the AI.
What SriAI is
SriAI is a credit-based AI chat platform that gives students access to Anthropic's Claude models — the same models used by researchers, engineers, and writers around the world. We run it lean so we can keep prices low: LKR 2,000/month for 3,000 credits, which covers substantial daily use for most students.
We also run Ollama-powered open-source models on our own infrastructure for tasks where privacy or cost matter most.
